Your Questions, Answered

    • 365 unique outdoor prompts

    • One prompt per page

    • Space to reflect, write, or draw

    • Designed to be flexible and repeatable

    • Families with kids

    • Parents who feel overwhelmed by screens

    • Anyone who wants structure without rigidity

    • People who value habits over hacks

    • Those who believe time outside matters

You don’t need to be “outdoorsy.”
    You just need a door.

  • This is not a curriculum.
    It’s not a checklist.
It’s not about perfection, streaks, or doing every day “right.”

Miss a day? Turn the page.
    Repeat a favorite? Perfect.

    The goal isn’t completion.
It’s returning to outside again and again.

  • Outside Project began as a simple question:
What would happen if we made outside the default again?

We didn’t want another activity to manage or another screen-based solution.
We wanted something physical, slow, and simple—something our own family could actually stick to.

    This book is the result.

Three Hundred Sixty-Five Days Outside: Field Book
$29.95

Three Hundred Sixty-Five Days Outside: Field Book is an activity book designed to encourage time spent outdoors through simple, practical prompts. The book contains 365 activities intended to be completed outside, requiring little to no preparation, special equipment, or prior experience.

The prompts vary in length and depth and may be completed in any order. Some take only a few minutes, while others invite longer periods of attention. Throughout the book, readers will find optional writing and drawing pages for notes, sketches, and observations.

Additional field pages, including maps, logs, and open drawing space, are grouped toward the back of the book for easy reference.

This Field Book is intended to be written in, revisited, and used flexibly over time rather than completed sequentially.
